Product photography is essential for successful catalogues, brochures, magazine ads, billboards, online ads, and company websites, specifically when selling products direct to consumer.
Our Process
- Initial discovery meeting/phone call
- Understanding the scope of the photography project
- What is being photographed
- What style of photography is required (studio shots, studio shots on a white background)
- In-situ shots of a product in the natural setting, lifestyle shots with people
- Generating a formal estimate that indicates the number and style of shots to be delivered.
- Estimate also includes usage for the images.
- Estimate will include any extra expenses such as makeup/hair, assistants, props to be purchased, shopping fees, scouting fees, etc.
- Scouting location and securing permits, if necessary, once estimate is signed.
- Either receive delivery of the product to be photographed or bring equipment to the site where the product/service is located.
- Set up of equipment, lights, camera, computer, makeup area, etc.
- Photography of product/service
- Photos from the shoot are culled to usable first round picks
- A pick gallery is uploaded so client can pick final angles for the images
- Edits are made to the photos for the style agreed upon
- Final photos are sent via large file transfer service
- Full size, full resolution images
- Smaller images suitable for most web situations
